Kyle swags up to Guerin with a nasty smile, holding a piece of multi-colored fabric. He then throws it over Michael revealing that it was in fact a Pride feather boa. "Happy Pride," he then says, still wearing that smile as if it would annoy Guerin.

Michael gives the boa a little push with his fingers, smirking as he drapes it around his neck, wearing it like he'd put any scarf on (despite the fact that he definitely isn't a scarf kind of guy).

"What?" he deadpans. "You thought it'd look pretty with my eyes?" he quips, even as he studied Kyle, amused at how far that pendulum's gone and swung between high school and now.

"I was curious if it would make you look as stupid as I hoped. I wasn't let down, " he quips with a smirk and crosses his arms across his chest. "Might not wanna wear it in public though. Or do if you enjoy being beaten up, I ain't bothered." he then kinda cautioned, even as he remained as annoying as before.

He fluffs up the boa a little at his chin, and gives Kyle a dubious look. "Please, I still look great," he argues, because he can make a lot look good. Maybe he'll need to take off his shirt to do it, but hey, he can make it work.

"You should know by now that picking fights with people who don't like what I am is the best hobby you can get," he replies, letting his gaze slide over Kyle, like he's challenging him.

"Discount burlesque dancer maybe." He huffs. He then furrows his brows slightly. He had never been a fan of Guerin. The guy tended to get up in his face far too often back in the days. He couldn't deny however that the last 10 years had turned a boy into a man. It could get real nasty if he allowed Guerin to get to him.

"It sounds like a stupid and risky hobby to me," he commented.

"Ouch. Discount." After all, the other part he's not gonna fight, because the other part actually sounds like the kind of thing he could get on board for. He smirks and fluffs it up just a little. "What else is there to do? Not all of us are fancy doctors."

He lets the little boa flick Kyle's chin, just a little, undoing the top button of his shirt so it'll rest there neatly. "That's the beauty of being an auto mechanic. You got all the time in the world."

"You could try being a normal person with normal interests. Like hunting or sports. A lot less annoying for everyone else." He comments with an eye roll.

"Duh. Of course not everyone can be doctors. Some need to be nurses and mechanics too. Things wouldn't go around otherwise." He continues with annoyance.

Michael leans in and flicks Valenti in the face with the boa, which had been so handily given to him for this exact purpose, as far as he's concerned. "Well, there you go. I'm not a normal anything, let alone a person." So why should his hobbies be?

Besides, it's not like he wants to rush off and share his actual hobbies with him. Those are private. "Your car definitely wouldn't run. You know Sanders lets me work under your baby's hood, right?"

Grunts and takes a step back. He was aiming for humiliation, not being flicked like Guerin was some drag queen fresh off RuPaul's. "Doesn't mean you can't try. Heck Max manages just fine to fit in with everyone else. Why do you have to be difficult?"

"Yes," he scoffs at Guerin. He doesn't like how that's phrased. If Guerin wanted to, he could just cut the brakes and he would be dead meat. "That a threat? Because I hope you do realize that I've patients relying on me."

"Maybe," Michael says, voice low as he steps forward, eyes filled with the bitterness of twenty years, "if someone adopted me when I was seven years old, I'd be normal too, but I guess I'm not," he says, shrugging.

He's not Max Evans and he's never gonna be, but that's fine. "I don't wanna be normal," is the point. "And I'm not saying I'd cut your brakes, I'm saying I'd make you walk everywhere. Spend all your money on taxis and ubers."

Kyle clenched his jaw as Guerin stepped up to him like that. The words cut him deep. Of course he understood Guerin's reasons. It didn't make it right but he'd understand it.

"Fine. Be the odd one out if you want. I'm just asking why you gotta make it harder for yourself," he said. His brows then furrowed as he continued to adress the rest. "If you can't do your job maybe you shouldn't have it. I can take my car elsewhere. I could complain to Sanders to fire you. If I want. So be fucking careful with what you do to my baby."

Michael scrunches up his nose, smirking at Valenti. "You do that. You go complain to Sanders about my services, if you're so upset about someone messing with you. Sucks when the shoe's on the other foot," he quips and untangles the boat around his neck to start wrapping around his arm.

Honestly, he's pretty amused by this whole thing, and it's always entertaining to see Valenti riled up. "Everyone's always made it hard on me, I'm just continuing with what I know."

"I'll complain if you decide to go further than just messing with me. If my car isn't delivered when it should or work worse, you know who's head will roll," he says, glaring back at Michael.

"The way you're going just make people wanna treat you worse," he then adds.

Michael rolls his eyes, but wrinkles up his nose, lips curved down. "Sir, yes, sir, don't worry, your car is in precious hands," he retorts, shaking his head and giving Kyle an amused smirk. "Yeah, well, that's what I'm used to by now."

"Why upset that delicate balance?"

Kyle smirks back at Michael. "Sir? I kinda like hearing you call me sir Guerin."

He then sobers up with an eye roll. "It's nowhere hear a 'delicate balance'. You're just an ass so people treat you like one."

"Well, you act real nice, you can get called 'sir' all you like," he deadpans, because he can't help the amusement at seeing Kyle enjoying it (and hey, maybe Michael likes it a little, too).

"Yup," he agrees cheerfully. "And that's how people like it, so I'll roll with it."

Kyle huffs in amusement. He knows what Guerin's getting at and he ain't about to just give it to him that easily.

"Have fun ending up in an early grave then," he continued and makes a mocking expression at Guerin.

"Nah," he guarantees, his eyes still fixed on Valenti. "I'm like a cockroach, you can't stop me," he insists, and steps a little closer, like he's about to take a risk on that early grave. At least if he goes out like this, it'll be fun as hell.

"What's the matter, Valenti? You never do anything fun anymore? Too upstanding and law-abiding? You must have a real hard-on for duty."

In reflex Kyle's hand goes up to push Guerin away from him as the alien steps closer. He doen't want him to get that up close. It freaks him out.

"I've plenty of fun. I sleep with any girl I want. I spend my hard earned cash on anything I want. Why would I want it any other way?"

Michael doesn't let himself get shoved back so easily, maybe because he's a sucker for a fight and maybe because he's gunning for the world's stupidest genius award. "Safe fun," he confirms, shrugging. He finally lets go and steps just a pace back.

"Gets boring after a while, doesn't it? Predictable?"

"No." He says and gives Michael the dirties look. "Nothing in my life gets boring."

"Liar," Michael accuses with a smirk, raising his brows like he's challenging Valenti with it. "I mean, if it's so fun, then why are you here wasting your time with me, huh?"

"Because annoying you is fun," he says and makes a face at Michael. "What is it that you really mean cowboy?" he then questions. There's something off with the way Michael is acting towards him.

Michael shrugs, knowing that he's definitely about to get decked in the face, but hey, where's the fun if he doesn't try? "I dunno, maybe I mean that I could show you some real fun if you ever decide to get off that big straight horse of yours."

Seeing as things between him and Alex clearly aren't peachy keen these days.

"What the fuck. What the actual fuck you think you're talking about Guerin?" he shouts and gives Michael a hard shove in the chest. "I'm fucking straight alright? I don't wanna fucking sleep with you. Not now. Not ever. Fuck off," he says with a glare and turns to leave before he knocks Guerin's teeth out. He's alright with gay guys. Like Kyle. But only as long as they don't hit on him. He feels sick.
