True, Michael had basically been sucker-punched into loving her from the moment he saw her tiny adorable face, but her young age and her breed made her perfect for a potential therapy dog. For the most part, it's emotions that he's worried about, but it doesn't hurt to train her for the other stuff. It's why he and Alex have set up a barricaded area in the living room using pillow cushions, with Bopp in the middle.
Michael glances at the training book again, handing it to Alex before he arranges himself on the ground, shirtless and in only his sweats, nodding to Alex upside down. "Okay, you wanna try the deep pressure therapy thing?" he says, gesturing for the section that talks about the dog applying pressure on the chest, like a weighted blanket.
Training's been an interesting exercise, if only because Michael's still in shock that he's been able to pick up some new tricks, let alone help teach them to their pet.
