littleorphanalienMichael had booked a table at the beachside restaurant a few weeks ago, before he even had a present ready for Alex. Now that it's almost Christmas, he leaves a suit out for Alex to wear, dressing in a baby blue suit himself with a black tie, and waits at the restaurant with his gifts beside him.
He's also booked them a suite at Kagura, which is part of the gift. The part that Alex doesn't know is that Michael intends to propose up there, on New Years, and getting there is just step one of the process.
For now, he's got a few other tricks up his sleeve and he's excited to give them to Alex. The little restaurant is quaint and adorable, with only a few tables under twinkling lights. The waves are crashing on the cold beach nearby, and Michael's already ordered them wine so that he's got it ready to pour by the time that Alex arrives.
Sliding his phone onto the table, he leans in to check whether he's on time, and knows that this is going to be his first Christmas ever with Alex, properly with him, and he couldn't be more excited.
