With Alex working an opposite shift from him, Michael's got a little while before he'll be home for dinner, which means that Michael can safely head out to visit Luke with a pizza. He brings Bopp with him, grabs the pizza on the way, heading over with the engagement ring in his pocket. It's not like this is new for him to think about, but it's still really fucking weird.

He's an alien. He's a fucked up orphan with so many issues. And somehow, he still thinks maybe it's not the worst idea in the world if he and Alex get hitched, but he can't get over that voice in his head that's asking whether he thinks he's got the right idea. And fuck, maybe he doesn't.

"Anyone in here hungry?" he announces, barging in without waiting to be welcomed in, because boundaries didn't exist before in the group home for him, so some habits die hard. "I brought a whole pizza and a whole dog," he quips, letting Bopp off the leash to charge inside.
