Oct. 2nd, 2019 10:07 pmMichael hadn't really planned on it, but he'd been passing by the Children's Home on a whim, and instead of walking past, he'd ducked in to see if Luke was around. They told him that he was, that Michael could take him out for the afternoon so long as he signed for him, which he did with a twisted feeling in his stomach.
People had done this for him too, multiple times, but it was never good. Michael would do anything to prevent that from being him, though, and he makes sure that when Luke shows up, he's clear about what's going to happen. He stops to get them snacks first, then takes him to the shop. Alex is on his way out at the desk, so Michael spends a few minutes with him letting him know the plan, kissing his cheek on his way out, and then heading to the back of the shop where he's been working on taking his truck and adapting it for Alex.
"You wanna see something really cool?" he asks Luke, once he's shut down the shop for visitors and new customers, that way no one will interrupt as he shows Luke the ropes.
